A British woman who goes by the name Tess Christian has gone through more than 40 years of not smiling so she won’t get wrinkles as she grows older.
Tess Christian refuse to smile to stop Wrinkles on her face She said, “I DON’T HAVE WRINKLES BECAUSE I HAVE TRAINED MYSELF TO CONTROL MY FACIAL MUSCLES. EVERYONE ASKS IF I’VE HAD BOTOX, BUT I HAVEN’T, AND I KNOW THAT IT’S THANKS TO THE FACT I HAVEN’T LAUGHED OR SMILED SINCE I WAS A TEENAGER. MY DEDICATION HAS PAID OFF, I DON’T HAVE A SINGLE LINE ON MY FACE.”
Because of this behavior, her friends called her by the nickname “Mona Lisa”.
It all started when she was a teenager at a strict Catholic school, where they discouraged students from smiling.
Instead of smiling, she learned how to smirk. She also found some serious expressions that fit her later in life.
Tess didn’t like how she looked when she smiles so she looked up to old-school Hollywood icons to find her own way.
It wasn’t easy at first for her to hold her smile or laugh on daily basis. She had to learn to make her face muscle rigid.
Sometimes, she would lift up the corners of her mouth but that is all about it. Yet, her social life seems to be just fine.
She found her own style by watching Hollywood celebrities “THE CORNERS OF MY MOUTH MIGHT GO UP A LITTLE BUT I NEVER LOOKED ANYTHING OTHER THAN FAINTLY AMUSED. FRIENDS KNEW I WAS FUN TO BE AROUND, SO IT WASN’T AN ISSUE.”
Tess claims that her method is effective and doesn’t cost her a fountain on beauty cream.
While some experts think that this trick might work, smiling can have a tremendous effect on your mental health, thus improving your overall health. Plus, smiling can make you look younger and much more attractive.
Due to how these male celebrities dress on social media, there has been this misconception about their personality, there were once mistaken to be the gender they are not, and also the kind of attitude they showcase on social media has proven to be different from the initial gender given to them from birth. They were all initially born as men, but they prefer being called ladies.
Come to think of it, assuming most of them these celebrities didn’t disclose about how they looked before fame, maybe no one would know that they used to be a boy before the transformations. It was through the throwbacks they posted that we realized, that all of them were not what we expected.
1) Nikita Dragun.
These people look like perfect ladies, most of them acclaim to be transgenders, but they are just crossdressers. Nikita Dragun is probably the only transgender among them, he has once shared the process of her transformation, while the likes of Bobrisky, Jay Boogie, and Buchi are likely to be crossdressers.
Even as clear as it is that they are all men, some of them still claim to have boyfriends and sugar daddies just to make their drama surprising. While many do have it and are not ready to change what they are doing because it’s what gives them fame and money on daily basis.
3) Jay Boogie.
These sets of celebrities are gradually dominating social media, Instagram in particular, making money and becoming more popular through their feminine personality when they were initially born as men.
Most of them will want to pick a fight with any of their fans who try to call them a man. They don’t want anyone to call them that, if you by any chance call them, then the person will be dragged on social media.
4) Alexander Buchi.
These men that call themselves ladies on social media are also into some kind of competition with themselves. Aside from Nikita Dragun who is not a Nigerian, the rest act as though they were into some crossdressing competition.
TV Presenter, actress and the latest Mandela Fellow, Mrs. Phebean Swill Randall has reacted to social media rumours about her being sacked by Kao Denero, Special Envoy on Investment and Entertainment, following a recent post by Phebean Swill where she reportedly posted a sarcastic and humorous post on the latest increments on fuel pump price.
Phebe Swill confirmed the rumours to be true on her Facebook page yesterday morning.
In her introductory post, Phebean Swill said –“Yesterday was a very significant day that partly defines me. I’m glad I refused to be inducted into mediocrity and sycophancy. Rather, I worked hard enough to become an Alumna of a prestigious fellowship.”
Three days ago, Phebean Swill commenting on the latest increments on fuel prices, a posted that got into the nerves of Ambassador Kao Denero, which he believes iscounterproductive. Kao was angered that a member of his Entertainment Board commented on a national issue that may probably put the government in bad shape.
Here’s what Phebean posted on Facebook 3 days ago:
“I’m selling my vehicle! I want to buy a bicycle. With a bicycle I won’t worry about fuel and traffic.Oh it’ll also help me get in shape.”
Upon seeing this post, the Ambassador posted a screenshot of Phebean’s Facebook post about the fuel increase in the Entertainment Board WhatsApp group, requesting her to delete the post, which she refused to do.
This was what Kao Denero posted in their WhatsApp group according to Phebean Swill – “Good morning board members. I was brought to the notice of this post made by one of our board members. I mean as much as am aware that we are all independent and free to do as we feel or like. But things like this derail our joint effort in getting the support we are all yarning for. Sister Swill it will be nice if you can kindly delete such on behalf of the board. Thanks.”
Swill responded that he won’t do it –“Ambassador Kao, with due respect sir, I will not delete that post. I’m entitled to freely express myself (within the ambit of the law) regardless of my status as entertainment board member. That has absolutely nothing to do with the board. Thank you sir.”
According to Phebean, the Ambassador’s response was “Ok Swill I respect your opinion my sister. My decision as an ambassador will be to respectfully disassociate ourselves from you. So from now henceforth I will remove you off the board group. I won’t engage in no social media back and forth on this. Thank you and God bless,” Ambassador Kao Denero.
Swill said that the Ambassador’s response came after some board members (HawanatuKonneh, Desmond Benya, D.J Prezo, Ing. Kamson) supported the Ambassador that she should delete the post because it doesn’t make the board “look good”.
“They probably forgot that I am NOT a political appointee. I’m NOT a loyalist to any party but my country. I love my Sierra Leone much more,” Phebean Swill lamented.
“On a more important note, I got certified as a Mandela Washington Fellow under the Young African Leaders Initiative by the United States Government the same yesterday. The coincidence of both happenings on the same day makes me feel so good. I could’ve deleted my post upon Ambassador Kao Denero’s instruction. But by doing so I would’ve betrayed my identity as a Mandela Washington Fellow – a Young African Leader. I’ve committed myself to be a part of my country’s solutions and not a part of its problems. I refuse to be a mediocre or a sycophant!” – Mrs. Phebean Swill Randall.
She went on to appeal to Sierra Leoneans to support the Entertainment Ambassador on his assignment to project the industry.
It could be recalled that the former SLeDU President Pilot CPO announced his resignation from the Board few weeks ago. A press release from the Office of the Special Envoy (Ambassador) on Investment and Entertainment also announced the sacking of prominent Board members for what the Board referred to as ‘their ineffectiveness’.
They included the VOA Presenter David Vandy, Pilot CPO and others.
Phebean Swill has just joined a list of her former colleagues, who were sacked ‘as it pleases the Ambassador’.
The Office of the Ambassador reacted on their Facebook page this morning with the post below:
“Know your place and role in any institution you agree or accept to be part of. Never indulge in activities that will be counterproductive towards your organisation or colleagues.
Finally our industry will soon have an administrative branch under gov and through the ministry of tourism. President Bio is really committed to upgrading the entertainment industry.” More details coming.”
The government of Sierra Leone last night announced it has lifted its ban on churches and mosques’ Sunday and Friday worship, a measure imposed by the government to help curtail the rising numbers of Covid infections, hospitalisation, and deaths.
According to the public notice issued by NACOVERC, there has been a significant decline in the number of reported cases of infection in the last few weeks.
Although churches and mosques can from next Monday, 16th August 2021 begin congregational worship, other measures have been kept in place to encourage social distancing and sanitation.
But critics of the government say that the government has changed its policy on mosque and church worship because of threats by religious groups to stage public protests and civil disobedience.

This is Ugandan Boy who Started Learning How to fly a Plane at 7, He Has Flown 3 Times as Trainee on a Cessna 172.
In 2020 when he was just seven, the boy became a sensation in his country with his display of aircraft knowledge and budding flying skills. A 8-year-old Ugandan boy, nicknamed ‘Captain’, who has already flown Cessna three times and whose role model is Elon Musk has become a sensation in his country for his aviation skills. Graham Shema has earned the nickname ‘Captain’ thanks to his impressive aircraft knowledge and flying skills. The young boy has already flown as a trainee three times on a Cessna 172. A lover of math and science, he says his dream is to be a pilot and an astronaut, and someday travel to Mars. ‘My role model is Elon Musk,’ said the boy, a pilot’s white shirt and black slacks hugging his small frame. He said: ‘I like Elon Musk because I want to learn with him about space, to go with him in space and also to get a handshake.’ He has been interviewed on local television and even been invited for meetings by Germany’s ambassador and the country’s transport minister. When his instructor at Uganda’s Entebbe International Airport, asked him to explain how the engines worked on a Bombardier CRJ9000 plane parked on the tarmac, Graham replied flawlessly: ‘The inlet tubes suck in the air and inject it into the compressor, the compressor squeezes it with the fans, after squeezing it with the fans, it becomes hot’. Graham’s passion about flying was triggered when a police helicopter flew so low to the ground that it blew off the roof of his grandmother’s house.
The incident took place on the outskirts of the Ugandan capital Kampala while he was playing outside and according to his mother Shamim Mwanaisha, 29, a travel agent, it ‘triggered something in his mind.’ She said it was then when her son started bombarding her with questions about how planes work – up until she contacted a local aviation academy and he began lessons at home on aircraft parts and aviation vocabulary Five months later Graham was thrilled to start flying lessons. ‘I felt like a bird flying up,’ he said of his first flight.
Since then he flew three times as co-pilot and during the pandemic he has been focusing on aviation theory, and immersing himself in videos about aviation and space exploration on his virtual reality viewer.
“I’m woman enough to admit when I’ve been washed on a track by the greats,” Nicki wrote on Twitter.
Nicki Minaj is often lauded for her lyrical prowess, but even she admits to moments where fellow emcees have outperformed her on a track. Over the weekend, she publicly acknowledged that both Lil Wayne and Drake “washed” her on one of three new records featured on the re-release of her 2009 mixtape, Beam Me Up Scotty.
The Queens native held a brief Q&A session on Twitter where she answered some questions about her son, her mental health and of course, her new music. When one fan asked her to name her favorite Drake and Wayne bars, she replied, “Way too many.”
The response was followed by an unexpected but frank admission of their individual performances on their recent collaboration, “Seeing Green.”
All I know is that they washed me on #SeeingGreen,” she tweeted. “I’m woman enough to admit when I’ve been washed on a track by the greats, and it’s ok #Barbz I’ve washed them b4. We’ll live through this one. I was still a lil rusty. I washed them in my head on #Fractions.”
Nicki’s response follows her previous confession that she experienced a severe case of writer’s block during her musical hiatus. The block, she previously explained, came to an end after a few heart-to-hearts with Drake, who sent her the track “Seeing Green” with hopes to inspire her, and hear her, him and Wayne on the same track again.
“He single-handedly got me out of my writer’s block, and I’m never gonna forget it,” she told fans amid an Instagram Live session ahead of her re-release. “He sent me something, and it made me feel so competitive again. I was like, ‘What the fuck am I doing? Like, I need to start writing!’ Whenever I hear Drake and Wayne rap, it always inspires something in me.”
Nicki Minaj paid tribute to her late father on what would have been his 65th birthday. The Queens rapper, who only recently opened up about losing her dad, shared a sweet Instagram post on Sunday (May 16).
“Happy Birthday Daddy. Miss u so much. So much. So so much,” she captioned a photo of her father. “Rest In Peace. Oh my God.”
As reported by REVOLT, Robert Maraj, Nicki’s father, was killed in a hit-and-run accident back in February. Maraj was reportedly walking in a Long Island, New York neighborhood when he was struck by a 1992 white Volvo. The driver, who was later identified as Charles Polevich, fled the scene and Maraj was rushed to a local hospital where he tragically succumbed to his injuries.
Nicki spoke out about her dad’s death for the first time last Thursday (May 13) after releasing her Beam Me Up Scotty mixtape on streaming services.
“[Though] I can’t really bring myself to discuss the passing of my father as of yet, I can say it has been the most devastating loss of my life,” Nicki wrote to her fans. “I find myself wanting to call him all the time. More so now that he’s gone. Life is really funny that way. May his soul rest in paradise. He was very loved and will be very missed.”
Polevich later surrendered himself to police and was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and tampering with physical evidence. In March, Nicki’s mom, Carol Maraj, filed a lawsuit against him for $150 million. Attorneys Paul Napoli and Ben Crump are representing her in the civil case.
“Charles Polevich was not only irresponsible & negligent in hitting Maraj, but was more concerned about running away and hiding than seeking help,” Crump tweeted at the time.
Henry McCollum and Leon Brown spent 31 years in jail in connection to the rape and death of an 11-year-old.
Two half-brothers in North Carolina have received $75 million worth of financial compensation after they were falsely convicted of rape and murder, the Associated Press reported.
Henry McCollum and Leon Brown were both given $1 million for each of the 31 years they served in prison. Per the News & Observer, they split an additional $13 million awarded by the jury for punitive damages.
Roughly three decades ago, McCollum and Brown were arrested in connection with the 1983 rape and death of 11-year-old Sabrina Buie. The half-brothers, who were said to have low IQs when they were interrogated by cops, were allegedly pressured into admitting their involvement and subsequently sentenced as a result.
McCollum, who was 19 at the time, was sentenced to death while Brown, then 15 years old, received a life sentence.
In 2015, new DNA was discovered that proved another man was responsible for Buie’s death. Their convictions were removed, and they were freed from custody. They filed a civil rights lawsuit shortly after.
The suit, the News & Observer reported, alleged that law enforcement not only forced them into making false confessions but suppressed and made up evidence in the case. Additionally, they accused North Carolina police of overlooking evidence that could have long proved their innocence in Buie’s rape and murder.
Drake, as you well know, is a momma’s boy . So, this Mother’s Day weekend, he’s feeling especially generous—the rapper will release a new set from his very popular candle line Better World Fragrance House, and is giving Canadians a chance to cop one for free when they order from his favourite local restaurants via Uber Eats. The scented candle line was announced last December through a partnership with Revolve, boasting fragrances like Sweeter Tings, Williamsburg Sleepover, Good Thoughts, and Muskoka. The standout, however, was Carby Musk , which Revolve described as a “smooth musk fragrance” that, ahem, “actually smells like Drake.” The candles were buzzing on social media last year, with Drake gifting them to the Toronto Raptors’ Kyle Lowry, Fred VanVleet, and Norman Powell, as well as Steph and Ayesha Curry and Kehlani. Better World has provided a limited number of candles to a curated list of Toronto and Vancouver restaurants. From May 7 to 9, customers who order $50 or more worth of food from those eateries could snag the essence of Drake while supplies last. Candles are limited to one per patron.
